Have a question with regards to question no 44:

QUESTION 44
Router A has three feasible successors to the 192.168.1.0/24 network, which are listed here:
– Option 1 has a metric of 8123228
– Option 2 has a metric of 2195467
– Option 3 has a metric of 8803823
The variance 4 command was issued on Router A.
How many active entries does Router A have in its routing table for the 192.168.1.0/24 network?
A. 0
B. 1
C. 2
D. 3

How can answer this question without knowing what is the metric of successor’s route?

We know the metrics for feasible successor’s routes (“Router A has three feasible successors to the 192.168.1.0/24”) but without knowing the metric of successor’s route we are not able to answer this unless I’m missing something here….

A successor is the route with the best metric to reach a destination. That route is stored in the routing table. A feasible successor is a backup path to reach that same destination that can be used immediately if the successor route fails. These backup routes are stored in the topology table.

Feasible distance (FD) – the metric of the best route to reach a network. That route will be listed in the routing table.

When using the variance command, eigrp will add a feasible successor to the route table if the feasible successor has a feasible distance that is less than or equal to the product of the feasible distance of the successor times the variance setting and the feasibility condition is met

From the question we don’t know what is the FD of the successor.

My bad, didn’t pay much attention while reading.
There may be an error in the question since it’s from dump.
If there is no error, I think the best shot is answer C – 2.
The first is the route with the minimal metric and the second is with metric 8123228 since it’s less than 4*2195467

I took my exam yesterday.

As many say 295Q, 326Q, 372Q is not enough max 50-60%.

New questions from here (Pages 29-37) were there, some of them slightly different, I had at least 5-10 new question I have never seen before but knowing the concept I was able to provide the answer.

Well… You need to know the concept but a had lot of questions from the Word doc if that helps.

I have read the CiscoPress book and went through all questions dumps at least 10 times…

I think these materials don’t have the new questions candidates keep sharing with us here on this forum.

With regards to your second question I’m not sure, I didn’t compare them but I can tell there is a lot of different questions in 295Q dump that are not in 372Q dump and those two are the ones I used the most.

I guess originally it was for CCDA 640-864 and now it is for CCDA 200-310 as 640-864 is no longer there but the questions may be similar if not the same.

It seems that 326 questions are correct because some sites have some qustion of 326 but not all questions.

Dumps usually have errors in answers. If you checked the cert guide or cisco site and found the right answer, then go for it on the actual exam.
