I’ll get the new questions posted asap. @pass4sure – no those aren’t new. You had different answers to the dragndrops compared to the other dumps. Mainly the ones asking about hierarchical layers.

    January 12th, 2012

@pass4sure – On this site under Drag and drop questions 1, questions 3 and 4 are the ones I’m referring to.
Also, the ones talking about benefits of overlay VPN technology.

I think pass4sure answers are very accurate with respect to the dumps questions

    Hi Everyone,
I passed CCDA last year, and now i have to pass 642-374 CXFS – Cisco Express Foundation for Systems Engineers. Have you any experience with this EXAM ?

OK. These 3 dragndrops differ from pass4sure and fred –

    1. Support layer 2 vlans spanning multiple access layer switches across dist switches
    2. Convergence (FHRP) is not an issue
    3. FHRP for convergence, no vlans span between access layer switches, across dist switches

    A. Layer 2 between dist and access layers, with a layer 3 link between dist switches
    B. Layer 2 between dist and access layers, with a layer 2 link between dist switches
    C. VSS

    Pass4Sure says 1/A, 2/C, 3/B
    Fred says 1/B, 2/C, 3/A

    and

    1. High level of availability, scalability, and fast convergence
    2. Enforces policy within the network
    3. Routing boundary
    4. Provide security, QoS, and IP multicast
    5. Provides a limited set of services
    6. The most feature rich parts of the campus network

    Pass4sure says 1,6/core – 2,5/access – 3,4/distibution
    Fred says 1,5/core – 3,6/access – 2,4/distribution

    and

    1. Protects the endpoints using network based intrusion prevention
    2. Filter and rate limit control plane traffic
    3. Protect against inadvertent loops
    4. Does not perform security functions to mitigate transit threats
    5. Protect the infrastructure using NFP best practices
    6. Protect network services including DHCP, ARP, and IP spoofing inspection

    Pass4sure says 1,3/access – 2,6/distribution – 4,5/core
    Fred says 3,6/access – 1,5/distribution – 2,4/access

Let me know what you think, big differences there.

This one looked new as well –

Which one of these statements is true concerning the data center distribution (aggregation) layer design?

    1. With layer 3 at the aggregation layer, the physical loops in the topology must still be managed by STP
    2. The boundary between layer 2 and 3 must reside in the multilayer switches, independent of any other devices such as firewalls or content switching devices
    3. A mix of both layer 2 and layer 3 access is sometimes the most optimal
    4. In a small data center, the aggregation layer can connect directly to the campus core, exchanging IP routes and MAC address tables

    Pass4sure says answer 3

  14. Mike
    January 12th, 2012

Another new one or with different answers –

There are a number of advantages to using virtualization within the data center module, list 2 examples.

    1. Virtualization consolidates many low-performance devices into a few high performance devices, providing a more efficient utilization of hardware and increasing the price/performance ratio
    2. Virtualization consolidates many a single device into a few high performance devices, providing a more efficient utilization of hardware and increasing the price/performance ratio
    3. Dynamic forcibility eliminates the need to add, reassign, or repurpose resources in the system
    4. Virtualization separates user via different physical networks into groups with visbility into only their logical network
    5. Virtualization provides distinct security policies per physical device

Pass4sure says answers 1,2 are correct.

    I think it’s 2,5.

  15. Mike
    January 12th, 2012

    and another –

Which one of these statements should the designer keep in mind when considering the advanced routing features?

    1. one way router redistribution avoids the requirement for static or default routes
    2. redistribution, summarization, and filtering are most often applied between the campus core and enterprise edge
    3. filtering only occurs on the routing domain boundary using redistribution
    4. summarize routes at the core toward the distribution layer
    5. the hierarchical flexibility of IPv6 addressing avoids the requirement for routing traffic reduction using aggregation

    Pass4sure says answer 2
    Fred says answer 5

  16. Mike
    January 12th, 2012

    and another –

When designing the wireless portion of an enterprise campus network, which one of these statements should serve as a strict guideline?

    1. Wireless controllers should be distributed throughout the building distribution layers
    2. dynamic controller redundancy, where the access points attempt to join the least loaded controller, is a best-practice approach
    3. wireless controllers should be centralized in the core layer
    4. To improve the RF coverage. the controllers of any building should be put in the same mobility group

    pass4sure says 3
    Fred says 1

640-864 study guide v4 says – WLCs can be placed in a central location or distributed in the campus distribution layer.

    WTF?

Passed today with a 941. My path was reading the entire cert guide v4 twice and going over test questions from pearson, boson, fred and pass4sure. There were about 5 new drag-n-drops that I wish I could remember to post on here, but if you know the material that shouldn’t be a problem. Good luck everyone!!

    January 16th, 2012

Just passed with an 840, I studied Fred’s dump and all the questions in the book. I had 3 NEW DD and probably 5-6 new MCQ (multiple Choice Questions). Unfortunately, I could remember it all.

First look at DesertEagle27 post on Nov3, 2011. Everything he posted was on there including the DD about RMON, SMNP, CDP and Netflow but the definition is not word for word but close to it.

The second DD had to do with Data Center Virtualization. The only key words I could remember is VSAN and Cisco Unified Communication System not sure what the other two were or the exact definition. This was hard to remember since I’m not too familiar with virtualization.

The third DD had to do with Ch1. Network Design Methodology and technical and organization requirements and constraints plus 2 other things I think one had to do with service and something else. I do remember the 5 options were HTTP/EMAIL, IP Phone / Voice (I think), BUDGET, SECURITY and APPLICATION.

One MCQ that was new that I remember was “What Enterprise Module gets an IPv4 public IP address”? All enterprise modules are in the answer field you only have to choose 3.

    2nd MCQ
What steps is preferred in Characterizing the Network?
    – Answer is Obtain existing documents, network audit and traffic analysis. The other answers were in different order but with the same wording.

    3rd MCQ
Was something about CM deployment model having to do with single site deployment, distributed WAN and centralized WAN. Can’t remember the answer but you’re supposed to choose the one that doesn’t have to do with all 3.

I tried to remember as much as possible but couldn’t. Keep in mind that this is not word for word. Good luck everyone, hopefully someone could expand on what I posted here with there experience to get a better picture of the new stuff.

just passed the exam this afternoon, i would say fred dumps is still valid (70%) just make sure you don’t memorized the dumps understand it.

there were a couple of new question and D&D, just as Ryan said First look at DesertEagle27 post , everything he posted appeared on the exam

    Q= DD= HTTP/EMAIL/ IP Phone / Voice / BUDGET/SECURITY /APPLICATION.
Q=DD = Data Center Virtualization/ VSAN/ Cisco Unified Communication System

thanks for the help really appreciate it
