N 243, right is Core, because WAN is not in the Enterprise Campus, but in the Enterprise Edge.

I will be taking the CCDA exam in about 3 hours, I will post my results and findings after.

i found the solution of number 21 in another source (other than actual tests, actual tests have a lot of wrong solutions) and the correct answer was A..

Good news – it’s doable;) If I can make it for 927/1000, anyone can;)

Now, the content; there were 4 questions which are not in AT nor in vce. I’ll try to recover as much as possible:

_Designing threat detection and mitigation protection for enterpise… choose the right solution:_
A) firewall
B) 802
C) MARS
D) something I don’t remember

I put B, but it should be obviously MARS.

_D&D_

RMON – complete monitor of all OSI layers
SMNP – communication between devices and monitoring… something
CDP – data link, multicast
NetFlow – processes ACLs, packet analysis for security

That’s the order as I answered, but feel free to check whether it’s correct.

_Data Aggregation Layer_
A) even with Layer 3, STP is still needed to prevent physical loops
B) devices must support multilayer switching, independent of firewalls (that was really a weird option)
C) sometimes mix of L2 and L3 infrastructure is desirable
D) at small sites, it’s connected right to the core and provides IP and MAC addresses services

I think I answered A.

_Campus Core_
A) provides L2 & L3 services
B) provides fast transport from distribution to enterprise edge
C) is optional
D) provides convergence and something… which didn’t seem right to me

I answered B.

Cleared CCDA today with 912/1000. Dumps are still valid with 1-2 new question. But you can crack it easily.

just pass the exam with 927.. VCE file is still valid and the one posted by deserteagle27 also appeared. Encountered one new question about collapsed core network but i coudn’t remember it in full.

passed with 912/1000, exam is easy,, same questions as in vce, about 10 D&D similar to the ones on this website,, only 1 new Q that i do not remember,, finished in about 20 min,

what is the most valid dump as i have the fred one with 252q from examcollection.?

used the one made by fred with 253q. it’s the most valid

As you mentioned you used the dumps made by fred with 253q. I have have the same but when I open them the maximum questions that show up are only 15 .

I would really appreciate if you could please let me know how can you view the entire set of 253 questions when you open

Guys, can anyone answer this: is the big difference between v2.1 and the old one? I mean, I got the book and p4s for v2.1, but I am used to videos, because Im such a lazy guy, so – do you think videos from 640-863 (old version) will be OK to study, or, there is such big difference between the old one and 2.1???

Failed today, a lot of questions that i hadn’t seen before and aren’t in the VCE. 55 q’s probably 18 that I’d not seen before.

About 5 drag and drops that were on this site.

Guy i would like to ask if i have the certkey 640-864v2011-08-18 and actualtest 2011-06-20 ALEX which one is best to use ?

Currently the general consent is that the fred253Q is 90% valid. Im writing this next week.

CCDA (640-864) passed today. The dump by Fred is still valid, but with some error (not much) as CiscoKid said (I’ve passed with 92% with a few different question).

I also got the questions of Desert Eagle (above) and something about a collapsed core as wolf7309 (also above). 5-6 drag’n drop questions, study it well.

My advice : dump by Fred and compared the answer with the questions from this site (also 640-863, still valid). I also take a pdf from actual test but there are too many wrong answer. You can also read the book if you have time ;)

Fred dump was 100% accurate in terms of content. Fred dump accuracy was about 95% (just a few incorrectly answered questions in the dump)- no new questions for me.

Want to know which are wrong? Look them up. All of them. You will be doing yourself a favor.

Passed today with 912/1000 only used fred 253q vce.

@Red: yes, make sure you read the CCDA official Cert Guide first before you proceed to Q/A. At the end you will notice that some answers in Q/A aren’t correct. So don’t rely.

You can just study by yourself, looking for study guides and then use some Q&A test, you just need to pay before take the test.

I talked to a couple of people at work who spent 3500.00 on a boot camp. I am taking the exam tomorrow. I used actual tests and the Fred dump based upon this blog. I have been studying for the past year. I did buy the book, read and did all the tests in the book. I feel very confident, but who knows, right? I will let you all know if anything is different. If anything, thanks for the support.

Passed on the 16th with an 810.
55 questions, 790 to pass, 75 minutes.
About 10 questions that were not on the Fred Dump or on this site.
7 drag and drop questions, 2 new ones.

Study method: Bought the book but barley used it.
Took all the questions from this site and learned them all.
Got the Fred dump (Just google fred 253q) and did all the different tests until I scored over 900 in all of them.

As you can see from my score, they changed it enough to make it tight but considering I only studied about 5 whole days for this it’s not too bad….

Any more update about new questions?
