VPN minimum configuration. Easy to deploy vpn in multivendor site Spoke to spoke.
A. DMVPN
B. IPSec fast encapsulation
C. Ip sec vpn
D. Get vpn
The correct answer should be C not B as it is in the dumps, because “IPSec fast encapsulation” does not exist.

An engineer is designing an OSPF network with multiple nonbackbone areas connected to the backbone area via a hub-and-spoke topology. Each hub-and-spoke area has a large number of spoke routers connected to the hub that is functioning as an ABR to provide better segmentation. Which two actions improve the stability of this design? (Choose two.)
A. Configure hub-and-spoke areas as stub.
B. Use External Type 2 metric: across the OSPF domain.
C. Configure hub-and-spake areas as totally stubby.
D. Implement summarization on the ABR routers of hub-and-spoke areas.
E. Implement summarization on the ASBR routers in the backbone area.
The correct answer should be C&D not D&E as it is in the dumps, because in “Foundation Learning Guide CCDP ARCH 300-320, 4th Edition” section “OSPF Hub-and-Spoke Design” is written:
“Therefore, it’s always recommended, in hub-and spoke topology, to place the spokes in a stub area to minimize the amount of information within the area. In fact, you should aim to configure the areas as stubby as possible. That’s why totally stubby areas are considered even better in this case. ”
[…]
“using stub and totally stubby areas further reduces the workload on an OSPF router ”
[…]
“The conclusion is that area size and layout design, area types, route types, number of ABRs/ASBRs, redistribution, and summarization all affect the size of the LSA database in any single area. Therefore, use this general advice to achieve a simple-to-manage and easy-to-scale OSPF design:
■ Keep it simple (for example, avoid multiple redistributions points, large numbers of prefix lists, and routing polices).
■ Keep it stubby (or keep it totally stubby, especially for remote sites).
■ Limit the number of ABR/ASBR routers to the minimum per area.
■ Keep it summarized (using a structure IP addressing scheme is key to achieving optimal route summarization design).”
[…]
“Therefore, considering stub areas, totally stubby areas, and summary routes helps reduce the size of the LSDB and impose a more
stable OSPF network by isolating the area from propagating external changes.”
[…]
“…to maintain a reliable and scalable OSPF, you should consider network route summarization where possible. Typically, ABRs provide opportunities to support route summarization or create stub or totally stubby areas.”
[…]
“You should always keep it simple, keep it as stubby as possible, and keep it summarized.”

When designing a Data Center Interconnect solution, which two statements describe benefits of utilizing A-VPLS for Layer 2 extension? (Choose two.)
A. Redundancy is addressed without enabling Spanning Tree Protocol in the core.
B. The overlay of the Layer 2 connection on the Layer 3 transport hides any physical convergence.
C. Integrated Layer 3 technology responds upon failure.
D. A-VPLS utlzes the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series VSS feature to provide native dual-homing.
E. A-VPLS provides flow-based load balancing over equal-cost multipath paths.
The correct answer should be D&E not B&E as it is in the dumps, because at
cisco.com/c/en/us/solutions/collateral/data-center-virtualization/data-center-interconnect/design_guide_c07-647422.html
The Cisco ® Layer 2 VPN (L2VPN) Advanced VPLS (A-VPLS) feature introduces the following enhancements to VPLS:
• Capability to load-balance traffic across multiple core interfaces using equal-cost multipathing (ECMP)
Simplified Redundancy
A-VPLS is supported by the Cisco Catalyst ® 6500 and Catalyst 6800 Series Virtual Switching System (VSS).
A-VPLS benefits from the multihoming features of VSS and does not require Spanning Tree Protocol for loop prevention.
A-VPLS needs to be configured only once

In a large hub and spoke EIGRP network, which solution would be for resource minimal usage?
A. stub routing
B. network summarization
I think the correct answer is B not C as it is in the dumps, because they say on
cisco.com/en/US/technologies/tk648/tk365/technologies_white_paper0900aecd8023df6f.html
ciscopress.com/articles/article.asp?p=687478&seqNum=5
Network administrators who wish to provide greater EIGRP network stability, reduce resource utilization, and simplify configuration are advised to investigate the EIGRP stub router functionality.
Using the EIGRP stub routing feature improves network stability, reduces resource utilization, and simplifies stub router configuration.
and in “Foundation Learning Guide CCDP ARCH 300-320, 4th Edition” section “EIGRP Hub-and-Spoke Design”:
Stubs are a must in an EIGRP hub-and-spoke topology if you want to achieve a resilient, scalable, and reliable design.
[…]
Furthermore, the other key scalability consideration in this design is summarization. Bandwidth and memory can be conserved by summarizing advertisements to spokes. Advertise either the default route or a carefully selected group of summarized networks. However, if EIGRP stub routing at the spokes is not enabled, even after routes that are sent from the hub router to the spokes have been filtered or summarized, there is still a potential of network instability or slower convergence time following a network failure event.

guys is there any SIM or lab in the exam ?
thx
hi intacct
I think A – stub routing in above question.
NEW QUESTION 348
Which technology should a network designer combine with VSS to ensure a loop free topology with optimal convergence time?
A. Portfast
B. UplinkFast
C. RPVST +
D. Mulitchassis EtherChannel
Answer: C
C or D ?
100% D. Mulitchassis EtherChannel
Multichassis EtherChannel (MEC) is a Layer 2 multipathing technology. This form of EtherChannel allows a connected node to terminate the EtherChannel across the two physical Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switches that make up the VSS leading to creating simplified loop-free Layer 2 topology. Using MEC in VSS topology results in all links being active and at the same time provides for a highly available topology without the dependency of Spanning Tree Protocol. With the introduction of 12.2(33)SXI, the virtual switching system supports a maximum number of 512 MECs.

Hey ya’LL! I took the ARCH exam a few weeks ago and passed. I studied GON180 & 66 and alot of the info shown here on these posts. New_Questions_Collector helped alot.
There are some new questions not in GON180&66. Cant recall what. Just make sure you know the GON180&66. The posts for PassLeader dumps is excessive. Its overkill. I’m sure Passleader dumps can help but that’s going thru hundreds and hundreds of their questions. I didn’t do that and i still passed. Just dig and LOOOK thru these postings and read the ones from those who passed and go over them again and again. You will catch on to which ones are just trying to sell dumps and the ones sincerely trying to help. Take your time. Dont rush it. Know it and you will pass. If you rush thru this youre gonna screw up and then need to retake. Too much money dont waste it. There are some drag and drops. One was North-South and East-West.
Anyway good luck, have fun.
fyi.. i got this one about NAT: It was tough, i didnt look to hard but did not find any good info on the web for this one: The question also had a big diagram. But this is pasted from an earlier post: New_Questions_Collector
May 18th, 2019
Q1 NAT question with a diagram Scenario with two companies merging and need to create an outside NATpool as a solution. The options were to select the right command for the scenario.
Answer: As one to one static mapping is the solution in this case. #ip nat pool MonPool 1.1.1.2 1.1.1.254 netmask 255.255.255.0
