Thanks a lot! I will use burlok’s vce file for my exam. I will double check the D&D question. will share the information after the exam. Let’s check it out to see is it vaild!!!
@Sri
Q50 C is correct, page 54 don’t say any thing about configuring three seconds with aggressive mode. you can find the recommendation to active it globally in note! it seems that you have a big struggle about notes!!
@Sri
Didn’t see your last correction comment, just check your modified file, you found out about Q50 already!
Q99 B also seems correct, self study v2 page 296
“Because there are multiple firewall layers inside the e-commerce module, this design is sometimes referred to as a “firewall sandwich.”
Q99 I I will go with B because using servers as an application gateways is a variation of “firewall sandwich” implementation, so it is not mandatory implementation. Page 298
Sri
you are right
the firewall sandwich is B
and Q 50 i will let you know the crrect answer after the exam
@Apple – So wen is t exam? Wat time? Do let me know wen ur taking. I am just checkin the PDF for t correct answers. Wil post is soon in a few hours…
@Kumar – For Q56 – The Answer C is a common solution and not an unique solution. The use of VDC/Virtualization looks like a better answer for the question!!! My new updated AT5.8 wil have the needed explanation/screenshot!!!
Can somebody validaTE the Q203 in AT 5.8, i don`t think so E is ry ans…
@Kumar – For Q203 – Page41 of the Self Study Guide has the below exact wordings, which point to Choice E as the correct Answer….
Cisco NSF with SSO and redundant supervisors has the most impact in the campus in the
access layer.You can reduce the outage to one to three seconds in this
access layer, as shown in Figure 2-7, by using SSO in a Layer 2 environment or Cisco
NSF with SSO in a Layer 3 environment.
R u still having doubts on this???
@kumar –
Q203 – Wrong answer choice explanation – Page41,42 of the Self Study Guide
A – NSF is a layer 3 function – Cisco NSF is a Layer 3 function that works with SSO to minimize the amount of time a network is unavailable to its users following a switchover
network is unavailable to its users following a switchover.
B – SSO is a layer 2 funtion – You can reduce the outage to one to three seconds in this
access layer, as shown in Figure 2-7, by using SSO in a Layer 2 environment
C – An access switch failure is a single point of failure that causes outage for the
end devices connected to it.
D – You can reduce the outage to one to three seconds in this
access layer, as shown in Figure 2-7, by using SSO in a Layer 2 environment or Cisco
NSF with SSO in a Layer 3 environment.
Hope this clears ur doubt!!!!
@sri when you have the new pdf please post cause i can update the vce :)

QUESTION NO: 82 – Answer is 5000
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1844/products_tech_note09186a00801a9fa7.shtml
The maximum device units that the MCS can support depends on the server model. The Cisco MCS 7835-1000 supports up to 5000 device units.
Q241 – Answers: A,C – Self-study v2 – Page303 – A repeated question – Dont know how i missed this correction!! Sorry guys!! Do let me know if u find anything new like this..
@Doughboy – Wat did u actually mean???

Sri
Pass the exam. there are new question and new q&q. I did not remember the new question at all because I was so nervous during the exam. there are some answer I can confirm 100%. from your new sep2011 file, q19 is A(for sure). q59 is C. q243 A and C. you exam is good to go.
you did a good job and THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please study hard for the first 70questions from Sri’s Sep folder. most of the questions from the exam come from the first 70 questions. the sep exam is vaild and good to go….
Sri
Just want to say THANKS again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also. there are one question I think cisco make a mistake the answe A and F is same. Please pick F do not pick A if you trust me because I take the exam three times and see the same question three times. I pick A last time and it is wrong. so pick F.
q260 there are typal mistake the answer is 67 not 7, so that is why no right answer.
@Sri
Q241, :)) you missed the question itself!! is says “characteristics of a firewall running in transparent mode” not “routed mode”; figure is not related though!!
Q241 B,C is correct
@Apple – Wat r t drag drops u got? All r t same or is ter something new? Any idea as to wat topics t new qns wer? Wat is ur score wit breakup in each section???
@Perdram – Ur rite….T figure is wrong for !241!!!
For Q243 – A, C are rite!!! Refer – Student_Guide_Volume_2 – Page38.
Q233 I will go with A, as even E is part of A under “Fibre Channel communications is similar to TCP in the following aspects” self study same page
Q233 – Choice A looks gud, since the question is about Fibre Channel communications…..
Thanks @Pedram :)
still i doubt on Q243, seems to be C,D are ryt… cam somebody validate.
@ sri: please provide ryt source, is it page 38?
Q233: seems to be A,E are correct, not sure which one to choose.
Fibre Channel communications are point-to-point oriented. A session is established between the two points through the device login. This session establishment is similar to TCP session establishment.
• Fibre Channel supports a logical node connection point between node ports (N_ports). This is similar to TCP
and UDP sockets.
@Kumar – for q243 – check in this link…
http://www.4shared.com/document/nGQS83XZ/Student_Guide_Volume_2-OneArme.html
Q233 – The question is Which statement about Fibre Channel communications is correct?…
Fibre Channel communications is the keyword and it operates similar to TCP points to Choice A.
Fibre Channel supports a logical node connection…. it refers to point B, which is not correct as far as the question is concerned…
Hope i am rite…Guys who hav taken t exam, kindly comment..
@Kumar – wen r u planning 2 take t exam? wer u from???
Q7 – Drag Drop – Refer-Self study guide-v2
STP – Enabled specifically on the network edge – Page 47
Trunks – Manuly prune unused VLAN’s – Page 52
UDLD – Used specifically on Fiber-optic interconnections… – Page 54
Etherchannel – Ensure that an indivudual link failure … – Page56
VSS – Always use a no. of links that is power of 2..-

Search for ” power of 2″
or

This is the best answer guys!!!
Hi All,
All the Drag Drop question with answers….
http://www.4shared.com/document/rWpmoMzy/642-874-AT58-Drag-Drop-2Sept20.html
@Sri
I just want to point that out. You catch it faster. nice one :)
Sri,
I am india only…
Q233:
Below one is for E not B.
Fibre Channel supports a logical node connection point between node ports (N_ports). This is similar to TCP(E. N_Port to N_Port connections use logical node connection points.)
Pedram, you also can validate once again.
and UDP sockets.
QUESTION NO: 149 – Answer B. Layer 2 Edge mode – Refer Page 373
Layer 2 mode: The MAC address of the client device is used to uniquely identify
the device. This mode supports both virtual and real IP gateway operations in both
in-band and out-of-band deployments. This is the most common deployment
model for LANs. The Cisco NAS is physically and logically in line to the traffic path.
@Sri
so Q149 ryt is A, Layer 2 mode.
Gonna take t exam in an hour…Wil keep u guys posted on t same…..
Pedram,
Could you please validate Q233 once again.
233 – A – Similar to TCP!!!
