    @ kumar

    Q21 student guide v2 volume 1 page 180

“The various kinds of Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) stub areas can be thought of as a simpler form of summarization.”
“OSPF cannot filter prefixes within an area.”

second one is a note, probably Sri doesn’t like that ;-P

also self-study v2 page 110 “OSPF cannot filter prefixes within an area.”

    @Kash

Could you please comment ref page about A for Q13. I couldn’t find anything about “multicast EMS” (probably typo of multipoint EMS) but on VPLS “Broadcast and multicast traffic would always be flooded in VPLS.” and problem with that is radiation not inconsistency. self-study page 176,177

    Pedram,

Q44: I did n`t get ryt ans, could not able figure out the ryt ans from below matter which i took it from book..

Many factors affect scalability of an IPsec VPN design, including the
number of route sites, access connection speeds, routing peer limits, IPsec encryption engine throughput, features
to be supported, and applications that will be transported over the IPsec VPN.
The number of remote sites is a primary factor in determining scalability of a design and affects the routing plan,
high-availability design, and ultimately the overall throughput that must be aggregated by the VPN headend
routers. Different routers can support different numbers of tunnels

Q46: A is the ryt ans.

if possible could you please upload the self study book.

  12. Pedram
    August 28th, 2011

    @kumar

I just want to comment on that :-) Q44 E is correct as high availability is part of “features to be supported”; just consider the sentence form most to least, last one is application to be supported.

    AT5.8 Q40
A= The VPN termination device can be deployed in parallel with a firewall, inline with a
firewall, or in a demilitarized zone (DMZ).pAGE409
D=Clientless access for SSL VPNs does not require specialized VPN software on the user
desktop, because all VPN traffic is transmitted and delivered through a standard web
browser, which minimizes provisioning and support concerns. – pAGE406
c==Smaller organizations typically configure a few static routes to point to the VPN device
and do not need RRI. The RRI function is usually of more benefit to larger organizations
that have more complex requirements (for example, organizations that do not have a
dedicated scope of DHCP addresses that are associated to a specific VPN headend). pAGE409
The experts…kindly clarify as 2 which is t rite answer plz….

    August 28th, 2011

    Q42
B-Filters can then be used so that only the default and any other critical prefixes are sent to
    remote sites. -Page112
D-Although packet filters can also be used to filter outbound traffic, protocol filtering is
typically preferred for outbound (egress) traffic. -Page497

    Q61 – A
    Refer – http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps9441/ps9902/white_paper_c11-558242.html
Virtual servers can now use the same network configuration, security policy, diagnostic tools, and operational models as their physical server counterparts attached to dedicated physical network ports.
    Is this correct?

  20. Pedram
    August 28th, 2011

    Q61

I have 3 years experiences with VMWare ESX, vSphere and vCenter, for me A is completely wrong as you can add new sever in your virtual infrastructure without any physical change in network. But in network part you should just define a trunk port and connect it to your ESX host and only have small administration ability on that part. The only thing I can see is Nexus add new virtual access switch to the VMWare hypervisor and I would go for C.

  21. Pedram
    August 28th, 2011

I think I should check Nexus architecture more in details and its way of working as I didn’t have any experience on that. If somebody have exp. on this part please make clarification on.
